My first time trying a steam mop and I'm very impressed. Not only was it easy to assemble but the tank allowed me to cover my entire kitchen area and both bathrooms. Took all the gunk up with a few passes that I'd normally have to scrape up with a paper towel using my finger. My floors looked brand new without the stickiness and even my husband took over and finished up for me. Absolutely perfect with having animals since we don't have to worry about fumes or fragrances upsetting them. Second Temex purchase within a week and I'm 1000% a happy customer! Great prices and quality and now one clean, sanitised house!

I wanted to wait until I had used it properly before reviewing. It is fantastic! You can pump until you get the amount of steam you need, and I promise you, there was some old black gunk the previous tenants left behind. I do not know what it was, but I have mopped, re-mopped, scrubbed with as much elbow grease as I could and nothing would lift it - except this mop. It got the floors cleaner than anyone before me had ever managed. Then I took it to my parents' house and that was the big test. Their tile floor looked new again! They have two big dogs indoors. Even the yellow floor that had turned brown came back to yellow. I should have taken before and after pictures there, but it was amazing!

I bought this last week and fell in love with the first use. When I first put it together, I was surprised how sturdy it felt. It has some weight to it, but is not heavy or difficult to manoeuvre. It takes a few passes to get a good steam build-up at first, but once it got going, we were good to go. My floor was cleaner after the first use of my Temex than after weeks of daily mopping with an old fashioned wringer mop. I highly recommend this product, and I do believe I'll be a Temex customer for life.

I really didn't have high expectations for it, just because I knew nothing about it. I've had it for a little over 7 months now and this mop is fantastic. Cleans and sanitises the floors without using any chemicals, which is great for me because I have kids and dogs. I saw other reviews about it not having enough steam, but I think it steams plenty, you just have to do about 5 passes back and forth to prime it and get the steam going. Only thing I regret is not getting the extra mop pads.

I bought the steam mop last month because I am no longer able to get down and scrub my floors like I used to. I had heart surgery and was frustrated about my floors. I saw this mop so reasonably priced online, took a chance on it and it solved all my problems. I don't have to exert myself or get down to scrub corners. It is so easy to work with and to fill. I felt like I had worked miracles getting my floors clean. Works just as the description says. I showed my friend and I think she is about to order one too.

I am writing this because I am about to buy a 4th unit as a gift for another innkeeper who is still using a mop and bucket. We do nightly lodging and are known for our clean cabins and rooms. We have used the mop for over two years now and they are wonderful little units. These steam mops get the floors of our cabins (tile and wood) clean. We even use them on the wooden porch floors to get them nice and clean. The only thing we have had to do is get more pads. We use these almost every day and they stand up to the hard work. They are lightweight, versatile and will get under beds as well as those hard to reach areas.

I LOVE the steam mop! It does a great job cleaning my wood floors! I was debating between this and a spray mop and I'm so glad I chose this one! It is so easy to use and leaves my floors looking bright and refreshed! It really feels like it's not only making them clean but also disinfected! The floors are even warm afterwards from the heat of the mop. I love how it stands up on its own, it makes storage so easy! My only complaint is that the cord is short. It would be amazing if they added a few more feet of cord.

I hate mopping my floors, so I would just vacuum and spot clean the areas you could see. Because this mop is so simple I just grab it off the wall and do a quick steam in the high traffic areas. It doesn't make the grout between the tiles magically white but it does a better job than a mop and I'll use it more often. Pros: non-toxic, so pets won't be licking cleaner off their paws. Lightweight, easy to hang on the wall and carry upstairs. Preheats fast and the pad is easy to change. Stands up on its own without leaning against anything. Cons: needs treated water if you live in a hard water area, however it doesn't need much water to cover a large area.

I have to ask the reviewers saying this doesn't put out enough steam... how dirty are your floors? I have hardwood floors, 2 large dogs, a puppy and I live somewhere it rains constantly. I get dirt, mud, grass, leaves and whatever else gets tracked in. The puppy loves to eat whatever she finds and tends to bring it up onto the wood floors. I just get this out and get the job done without any issue. It is seriously the least complicated and easiest to use of the whole line. If you're willing to read the manual and follow the instructions, this steam mop is perfect.

The steamer is easy to use and does a fabulous job. I only have two issues with it. First, it has no way of leaning against a wall without sliding down. Secondly, getting the pad steamed up takes a little while, so here is a tip: just wet the pad with hot water first (not too much, you don't want it dripping wet) and you are good to go. It is lightweight, manoeuvres easily, is easy to fill, the water container clicks in easily, and the pads stick on great. I am getting another one for my daughter.

This is an excellent product for cleaning ceramic tiles and wood floors. We have both in our house, and it does an amazing cleaning job. Once you're done with the floors, it is incredibly easy to remove the cleaning pad and replace it with a clean one. We bought an extra one so we could swap them out. We have one dog, and the steam mop is what adds the finishing touches to the cleaning. It really does an amazing job. I highly recommend it. I only wish the electrical cord was longer.

I love this steam mop. It works wonderfully. It's very lightweight and glides over the floor with ease. It uses a pump action on the tank that pushes out an excellent amount of steam. The big wide cleaning pad allows for plenty of floor coverage, making mopping much easier and faster. I own several Temex products and enjoy every one of them. I give this mop five stars and recommend it to everyone.

My family and I have been in a rental for about a year. I sweep and mop every day and the kids' feet were still coming up black, and the laminate was always dull. So I bought this mop on sale and honestly, the floors are SHINY. No streaks, no black feet. For everyone saying there isn't enough steam, read the little book! You have to let it sit for about 30 seconds before it starts steaming, then make a couple of passes before it really gets going. This is a great mop. Get this mop and some replacement pads, it's so worth it.

For my first steam mop I was more than pleasantly surprised. The water tank capacity is perfect for my home. The unit steams quickly and distributes the hot steam evenly over the floors with no puddles and without leaving streaks. One thing I must stress: as the instructions say, only use WATER (don't even use vinegar). I am a clean freak and always have to push the envelope, and I was left with a mess of cloudy streaks that took me forever to get rid of. I learned my lesson and now only use water. The unit stores nicely as well.

I'm happy with the steamer. I just wish the steam came out on both the forward and the back motion while cleaning. I also wish the water tank was a little larger and that it came with more than one mop cloth. Other than that it works great and I'm happy with my purchase.

I have had two of these. My mother wanted one because we love ours and now she loves hers. It is perfect for getting greasy marks up, or anything that is hard to shift. The steam just somehow loosens it and it wipes right up. My floors smell so much better and feel so clean. I use it every day just to sanitise after everyone goes to bed.

This is a solid steam mop and it does the job on my tile and laminate. The cord is a bit short for my liking and I do wish it had a couple of steam settings instead of the pump action. It cleans well, I just expected a little more for the money.
